I used to think I needed a perfect quiet time to meet with God. An hour of silence, a journal, candles. Then I had kids.
Now my 'quiet time' often happens over cold coffee at 6 AM while a toddler climbs on me. And you know what? God is still here. He never asked for perfect circumstances; He just wants our hearts.
Scripture Passage
BSB
11 He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes.
BSB
Look for one small moment of grace today. Maybe it is in a sticky hug, a shared giggle, or a quiet second while they sleep. Remember: He gently leads those with young. You are not too messy for Him.
Practical step for today: Write down one thing you are grateful for about motherhood, even if it is small. Gratitude shifts our perspective.
