Haggai 2:21-23
BSB
21 “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:
22 I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
23 On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
BSB
We are living in a day that the Church, the Bride, has lost her authority because we have lost our intimacy with the Bridegroom. We have been more intimate with influence than the One who carries all authority!
We birth what we are intimate with.

What we chase after is what we devote ourselves to.

We have devoted ourselves to influence and an “outside appearance” instead of an “inner transformation”!
We have lost the desire to go and make disciples, cast our demons, heal the sick, call the dead back to life, preach the gospel unless its on a big platform with a lot of followers… because we don’t want to give that type of energy or that “type of faith” because our energy is given to building “My kingdom” instead of serving an UNSHAKEABLE KINGDOM!
The sins of the fathers passed down to the next generation that walk in new levels of wickedness…

God and His faithfulness, signs and miracles forgotten about to the point He’s been mocked, His word and his true followers are mocked.

We have seen this happen until a nation shifts away from God because God’s people did not remain unshakeable when trials came, when temptation came, when hardship came, when wars came, when wicked rulers came, they did not remain unshakeable!
Men serve God > build His house > get arrogant, it becomes about them > until they turn + fall away from God > judgement comes to a people and nation.

We see this pattern continually throughout history!
1 Kings 7:15-22
BSB
15 He cast two pillars of bronze, each eighteen cubits high and twelve cubits in circumference.
16 He also made two capitals of cast bronze to set on top of the pillars, each capital five cubits high.
17 For the capitals on top of the pillars he made a network of lattice, with wreaths of chainwork, seven for each capital.
18 Likewise, he made the pillars with two rows of pomegranates around each grating to cover each capital atop the pillars.
19 And the capitals atop the pillars in the portico were shaped like lilies, four cubits high.
20 On the capitals of both pillars, just above the rounded projection next to the network, were the two hundred pomegranates in rows encircling each capital.
21 Thus he set up the pillars at the portico of the temple. The pillar to the south he named Jachin, and the pillar to the north he named Boaz.
22 And the tops of the pillars were shaped like lilies. So the work of the pillars was completed.
BSB
Jachin (yaw-keen): he shall establish, or God shall establish (his house/his temple)

Boaz: in him, his strength
1 Kings 9:3-9
BSB
3 And the LORD said to him: “I have heard your prayer and petition before Me. I have consecrated this temple you have built by putting My Name there forever; My eyes and My heart will be there for all time.
4 And as for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, with a heart of integrity and uprightness, doing all I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and ordinances,
5 then I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised your father David when I said, ‘You will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’
6 But if indeed you or your sons turn away from following Me and do not keep the commandments and statutes I have set before you, and if you go off to serve and worship other gods,
7 then I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, and I will banish from My presence this temple I have sanctified for My Name. Then Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all peoples.
8 And when this temple has become a heap of rubble, all who pass by it will be appalled and will hiss and say, ‘Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’
9 And others will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the LORD their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—because of this, the LORD has brought all this disaster upon them.’”
BSB
The pillars were a sign to the people that God will establish His temple in His strength!
These pillars were bronze pillars, quite strong, yet they were on the porch of the temple and held nothing up.

It was on purpose that Solomon put these strong pillars in the front, one on the right and one on the left so that when you entered you must look at these strong pillars that had nothing to do with holding up the temple.
They let the inside become perverse and wicked like their hearts! The inside of the temple became the mirror of their own hearts!

They took the glory for themselves so there was no glory left to go and encounter within the temple!
Haggai 2:5-9
BSB
5 This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
6 For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7 I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.
8 The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.
9 The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
BSB
God didn’t desire something that looked great on the outside to try to attract man, He wanted them to desire what was on the inside!

This is why He says the latter shall be greater than the former… he was decreeing the coming of Jesus! That “the temple” “the glory” was coming that would fill His temple…fill His people with His glory and presence and oh, how much greater that day would be than the former Shakinah!
Ephesians 2:19-22
BSB
19 Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.
21 In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22 And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.
BSB
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
BSB
16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
BSB
Hebrews 12:18-27
BSB
18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom, and storm;
19 to a trumpet blast or to a voice that made its hearers beg that no further word be spoken.
20 For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.”
21 The sight was so terrifying that even Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”
22 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels
23 in joyful assembly, to the congregation of the firstborn, enrolled in heaven. You have come to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if the people did not escape when they refused Him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we reject Him who warns us from heaven?
26 At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth, but heaven as well.”
27 The words “Once more” signify the removal of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that the unshakable may remain.
BSB
Revelation 3:12
BSB
12 The one who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.
BSB
Hebrews 12:28-29
BSB
28 Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”
BSB
God promises a shaking is coming, but He also promises those who know His voice and obey His voice, that receive this unshakeable Kingdom as their home... will be the unshakeable that remain!
QUESTION
How do you live in an UNSHAKEABLE Kingdom?

You live and remain as His temple!
You live your life as His temple, full of the Holy Spirit, full of His glory and presence from the inside out!
1 Kings 9:3
BSB
3 And the LORD said to him: “I have heard your prayer and petition before Me. I have consecrated this temple you have built by putting My Name there forever; My eyes and My heart will be there for all time.
BSB
Pillar = stulos (stoo'-los)
1.Pillar, support, column
2.Pillar of fire
3.Used of persons to whose eminence and strength the stability and authority of any institution or organization are due (Rev. 3:12)
God’s pillars are those given strength, stability and authority by God, and they have the name of the Lord marked on them!

This is why the enemy has worked so hard to get out of the house of the Lord, because you are called to be a pillar in His temple!
Psalm 16:8
BSB
8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
BSB
4 Pillars to an Unshakeable Bride

1. Courage… even when threats and persecution comes.
Haggai 2:4-5
BSB
4 But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.
5 This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
BSB
Haggai comes with the word of the Lord and says 3 times: BE STRONG! Just like what was said to Joshua, be strong and courageous!

God spoke to Zerubbabel and said, my spirit remains among you! Don’t fear the people, don’t fear your adversaries, don’t disobey what I told you to do, go work! For I am with you!

You need courage to be a pillar of truth!
You need courage to obey Him!
You need courage to stay faithful or to remain UNSHAKEABLE!
You don’t have a passion problem, you have a courage problem!

Obedience takes courage!
Faithfulness takes courage!

God isn’t asking us if it’s our passion, it's His passion!
If His word declares, set the captives free, bind up the broken hearted, I’ve come to give life abundantly…
than I shall declare: “God, Your will over my will!”

It takes courage to be faithful to God and His word in an hour that its unpopular to do so!
Matthew 6:9-13
BSB
9 So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’
BSB
Hebrews 12:28-29
BSB
28 Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”
BSB
4 Pillars to an Unshakeable Bride

2. Gratitude... even when enduring suffering
When we keep our fear in the Lord, even through tests and trials, our gratitude will not change!

Cursing will not come from our lips when life gets hard, because the joy of my salvations is still living within me! Even when there is opposition from the enemy, people attack me, turn on me, I will rejoice and be glad because HE IS GOOD!
Matthew 5:10-12
BSB
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you.
BSB
Our gratitude to God should not change based on our circumstances.
Because He is always awesome, always mighty, always good!
4 Pillars to an Unshakeable Bride

3. Truth… even in a world that declares there is no truth.
1 Timothy 3:15
BSB
15 in case I am delayed, so that you will know how each one must conduct himself in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
BSB
John 14:6
BSB
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
BSB
John 14:15-17
BSB
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.
BSB
4 Pillars to an Unshakeable Bride

3. Intimacy... you are KNOWN by God…even when the world tells you to give yourself to other lovers/idols
1 Corinthians 8:1-3
BSB
1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
2 The one who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.
3 But the one who loves God is known by God.
BSB
To know God means to be intimate with God!
PRACTICAL ADVICE
Your daily encounters with Him should be #1 priority… not “if I get to it.”

God shouldn’t have to compete with everything else in your life to be with you, to speak to you or to be intimate with you!
QUESTION
Do you love Him like He loves you?!

He is desiring a bride that desires Him back!
That knows Him, and that He knows also!

A known Bride is a MARKED Bride!
BSB
menó: to stay, abide, remain

For those that know Him, He will remain with you and in you!
Isaiah 54:10 (NIV + NLT)

Though the mountains may be removed
And the hills may be shaken,
My loving devotion for you will remain,
And my covenant of peace will not be broken,”
Says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
BSB
It’s one thing to know God, but it’s a whole other thing to be KNOWN by GOD!
What is a signet ring?

The signet was usually worn by royalty, the kings or those entrusted by the king!

The signet was used to mark the King’s signature or His approval. It symbolized the King’s authority.

We see when God put His favor on individuals like Esther, like Joseph, like Zerubbabel, he entrusted them with the King’s signet, or His authority and power!

This came from a place of favor and intimacy with the king!
An UNSHAKEABLE Bride is marked by her Bridegroom!
Isaiah 28:16-17
BSB
16 So this is what the Lord GOD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be shaken.
17 I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level. Hail will sweep away your refuge of lies, and water will flood your hiding place.
BSB
Philippians 3:20
BSB
20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
BSB
Esther 2:17
BSB
17 And the king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she found grace and favor in his sight more than all of the other virgins. So he placed the royal crown upon her head and made her queen in place of Vashti.
BSB
As you remain UNSHAKEABLE, as you wait on your Bridegroom...

You must know how much He longs for you and loves you so that you can return loving devotion upon Him!
Esther 2:17
BSB
17 And the king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she found grace and favor in his sight more than all of the other virgins. So he placed the royal crown upon her head and made her queen in place of Vashti.
BSB
Esther 4:8-16
BSB
8 Mordecai also gave Hathach a copy of the written decree issued in Susa for the destruction of the Jews, to show and explain to Esther, urging her to approach the king, implore his favor, and plead before him for her people.
9 So Hathach went back and relayed Mordecai’s response to Esther.
10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach and instructed him to tell Mordecai,
11 “All the royal officials and the people of the king’s provinces know that one law applies to every man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned—that he be put to death. Only if the king extends the gold scepter may that person live. But I have not been summoned to appear before the king for the past thirty days.”
12 When Esther’s words were relayed to Mordecai,
13 he sent back to her this reply: “Do not imagine that because you are in the king’s palace you alone will escape the fate of all the Jews.
14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows if perhaps you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai:
16 “Go and assemble all the Jews who can be found in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day, and I and my maidens will fast as you do. After that, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish! ”
BSB
Esther 9:29
BSB
29 So Queen Esther daughter of Abihail, along with Mordecai the Jew, wrote with full authority to confirm this second letter concerning Purim.
BSB
Esther 4:14
BSB
14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows if perhaps you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
BSB
Esther 5:1-3
BSB
1 On the third day, Esther put on her royal attire and stood in the inner court of the palace across from the king’s quarters. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the royal courtroom, facing the entrance.
2 As soon as the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she found favor in his sight. The king extended the gold scepter in his hand toward Esther, and she approached and touched the tip of the scepter.
3 “What is it, Queen Esther?” the king inquired. “What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given to you.”
BSB
An unshakeable bride does not live according to the kingdom that she lives in, she lives according to the UNSHAKEABLEKingdom that abides in her!

Bride, you cannot forget how much your heavenly King, your Bridegroom loves you! He waits on your loving devotion!
He is waiting on your presence… to give you the King’s favor and authority!

He’s been waiting, and some of you have made Him ministry or Christians and when you needed a break you took a break from Him, some of you were hurt by the house of God or spiritual leaders and so you took a break from Him… but He’s been waiting on a loving devotion from you… He desires to be in your presence!
Exodus 13:9
BSB
9 It shall be a sign for you on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the Law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For with a mighty hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.
BSB
Daniel 2:44
BSB
44 In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will shatter all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself stand forever.
BSB
1 Corinthians 3:10-13
BSB
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds.
11 For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13 his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work.
