There’s a lot of New Age teachings making its way into Christianity that is turning people of God away from the Truth. Teachings that say, there is no Hell, there is no judgment, in fact the word “obedience” is offensive. We are free and to use the word we are to obey or to what’s right in God’s eyes feels condemning and heavy. As if because we are invited into relationship with Jesus that this means we do not have to obey. Relationship with Jesus does not replace obedience and faithfulness to Jesus! This is rebellion. Period. This is lawlessness with some deceiving Christianese talk in it. Be wise and discerning church!

New Age teaching is fueled by a demonic spirit to fool the church, to insert rebellion! But this spirit cannot remove the truth that judgment and hell are real and coming for a people that are self-seeking and will not obey the truth! What provoked this moment, is “the injustice became so great”, and the church so silent, so “culturized” worshipping their idols (THIS CHAPTER IS TITLED “JUDGEMENT ON IDOLATERS!), not leading in RIGHTEOUSNESS or ADMINISTERING GOD’S JUSTICE, that God is provoked to bring HIS JUDGMENT OR HIS JUSTICE!!

NOTICE IN OUR OPENING SCRIPTURE IT DOES NOT SAY; THIS RICH MAN WAS A WICKED, SEXUALLY IMMORAL, HATER OF THE JEWS, MURDERED, SLANDERED, LIAR… and because of this many misinterpreted this scripture to mean that to be rich with money is evil and to be poor with money is virtuous!

The rich ruler gives a “good sounding” plea, that Abraham doesn’t fall for, he begins to ask for a dead man to be raised to prove to his brother's hell is real… or he asks for a SIGN!
He is pleading for a SIGN! They have the book of Moses and the prophets, the breath of God, yet they didn’t believe and now He is pleading for a dead man to be raised or a great sign or miracle to save his brother's.. Jesus had warned of this when He said:
